Did not know I had this much power:)

Yesterday my husband said "maybe the front lawn needs cutting." So I look out the window and I see the grass is coming up just a little, but well I needed the exercise so I get the lawn mower and mowed the lawn. There was not that much grass so I went and did the back of the fence in the lane so at least I would get something. I did not think it would rain today, but now we have a thunder shower.
It was just like last week when I decided to do the back yard. I got a little more grass, and I put it in the plastic bag at the back. Yes and it rained the next day, not just a little shower but it really poured, the type that an umbrella does not help to keep it off.
So today I was thinking it seems that every time I mow the lawn, the next day it rains. Do I have this much power? Maybe I should go into the rain making business: just take along my trusty lawn mower and the next day, it will really pour.

Never seems to fail does it? And the grass is twice as tall twice as fast because of it. Well, if you could would you travel to Egypt? James72 would surely like some of that rain where he lives.

We are into the global cooling bit now. Right now we have very nice weather. Usually it is as hot as blazes. Of course, the global warmers will not think we are in global cooling until Mastodons followed by Neadentrhal cave men in furs go through the Canadian prairies.

I often wondered that. Maybe I should not mow the lawn that often.

Go into the lawn care business my friend. I could use a mowing and a raining if you will. It would be absolutely neat if that were the case.

That would be a good idea. Only everyone here does their own lawn. And the weed people would not like the competition.

Hey Mother Nature, will you quit it! I live one block over and I keep washing my car the same day you mow your lawn. :)

We do not own a car anymore, but I did notice that when we washed it, it would rain and before when I was a child, and my mother did the laundry and hung it out to dry, it would also rain. Maybe it's hereditary.

You are welocme to come to my house any time - and remember to bring the lawn mower. We are having a drought at present. Longing for rain and rain and even more rain. I love my lawn to look green and I am dreading what my wate bill will be this month. It is so hot that we are watering in the mornings and evenings. By th evening the flowers look like they are dying for a drink. Solet me know your arrival date.

It does seem like you have power when things like that happens, doesn't it? You better think hard about that business.

That's pretty funny. Here we always say it rains right after we wash our cars. I haven't washed mine in a long time and maybe that's why everything is so incredibly dried out up here. If we don't get a really good rain soon, I'll have to ask you to bring your trusty lawnmower up here so that all of my flowers don't die out on me.

So, does that mean if you don't mow the lawns, we will have nice warm, sunny weather? Quick, move here because that is what I need! The washing mountain just got named Mount Never Rest! LOL
