Online work and things I do not want to go through again.

I started searching several months back on something to do online to earn money. I went through a surgery and now I am unable to work and am dealing with disabiliy (Social Security) and it is just one thing after another.
I started out like a lot of people searching the internet and praying that I can find something that will earn me money with nothing taken from my pocket book that is already low.
I found the easiest way that everyone said to make money online... Surveys... I found this to be a joke... I know that there are people out there that make money with it but I guess I am just not that good.
I went through so many sites because one webpage said that the more places that you sign up for the more surveys and the more you will earn.
My inbox is flooded every day with spam now and the survey places asking me to take another survey I finally had to open up another email account to have one with out the spam in it..
I put my heart into the surveys for two months and I had more surveys that I went almost all of the way through and then they said that I do not qualify and entered me into a drawing...
Is this how most places are or is there something out there that the head guy isn't getting all of your possible earnings and you doing all of the work?
I am just ranting sorry....

Hi, You can earn so much here in mylot. Just work hard for it. It will be more than those surveys who have done in the past. Earning in mylot is quick if you try to do some tasks. Do some writing tasks. Just make a few research on the internet. 1 writing task worth $2 is about half an hour work or even less if you are an english speaker, probably 20 minutes. If you stay online a good deal of time then you will be able to do as many tasks as you can and the amount of money you will earn is entirely dependent on the amount of time you spend for it. You can earn as much as $500 a month here. It may not be much but it is still money. Come on try it. If you need some help on how to do these writing task I can help you and send you some of my work so you will have a grasp on how to do it. Goodluck.

i don't like surveys either are they are some of the worst online jobs you can do, i am into freelance writing now and i can tell you that is the best and true online job you can have because you can bid for jobs and write blogs or articles for people who own blogs, you will get paid for such writing, you can visit getafreelancer and scriptlance for such writing jobs

Did you go through and check each place out... If so, wow.... I started to go to different placed and before signing up I would go and read the frequently asked questions and anything else I could find on the sites. I would also go and search the company online to see if there were any complaints about them.
Boy, the internet world is an amazing place....
Thank you for your comments....

Hi jgbe4245,
I couldn't help but feel exactly the way you do about those survey sites. I spent countless hours filling out silly questions only to find out I didn't qualify for whatever reason. I even tried signing up under another name and filling out different ways only to get the same results.
If it would help, I do have a website started with links to places that actually do pay for your efforts. You can find it on my profile, of course. I don't mean to self-promote, but it is essential to make some of these programs work a little faster, so to speak.
But, to answer your question. I haven't found a survey site yet that has proven itself legit. Basically, they get your answers for free and they give you some excuse why you don't qualify. However, some folks on here have it down to a science. There's some good advice on this discussion, but I have found that Helium is the absolute best path for me. If you're interested, check it out if you like to write. The best part is, you can pick your own topics, which makes it fun.
Best of luck to you!

Sometimes one just needs to rant abit. And you are going thru a tough time so remember to be nice to yourself. You are trying hard, harder than many. I have done online market research for years and I make about $200 give or take a month with it. The key is the sites you join, some only do those drawings where they enter your name and IF you win then you get $5,000 or some such number. BUT what are your odds there. I find that there are several that pay you per survey and once you hit $10, you can either request a Paypal payment, a check or choose a gift cert etc. They are out there, but like you said, there is alot of scammers out there. Fortune 500 companies pay alot for Market Research, both before, during and after a new product release. And they want folks to review their products based on demographics so you won't always qualify for a study. I'll be happy to send you the names of the ones that I work with and have for years. And I don't get SPAMMED since the "Real" Market research co's don't sell your name since they don't want to waste your time or theirs. You might want to contact your local unemployment office since the Amer w Disabilities act has opened up many opportunities for folks with limitations and they have counselors that are trained, willing and able to help you. Try to take it one day at a time and be proud of what you are trying to do for yourself. You are NOT simply holding your hand out and saying pay me to the gov't like so many others, many perfectly able bodied folks are such scammers that they have bogged the system down so that folks who do need and deserve the services have to go the extra mile to get them. I wish you the best and I can relate since I have physical limitations too! Be well!

Yes there are many people out there that want what they can get with little to no work involved. It is a shame to others...
I had an appointment with the rehab for disable peole and my doctor wouldn't sign a release for me to try a different line of work...
Back to the drawing board..
I am really interested in what mylot has to offer though. Hopefully I can do good with it.. I haven't been here long but I hope to stick around with it for a while..
