If your child has really bad diarrea, is there anything you can do?

My daughter has had it SO bad for a day now, and its given her the WORST diaper rash ever!!! all shes been doing is crying, and everytime she does to the bathroom she screams and wont even let me wipe her without kicking me and trying to get away. She kept me up most of the night with her screaming and i feel so bad. Is there anything i can do?

Apply a thick coating of diaper rash ointment. If you don't have that, then use some plain vaseline.
Also, if she is sick from the diarrhea from something she ate, then you will want to fix her up some : vinegar, salt, flour, and a little black pepper. About a 1/16 cup of vinegar, a couple tsp. salt, just a spinkle of black pepper, and about a tsp of flour. This remedy is good for food poisoning, upset stomach, etc. Just let her sip on it.

thank you! she stayed with her father and he gave her a bunch of milk, knowing shes lactose intolerant, and shes just been so messed up. i was getting worried and didnt know what to do for the rash!
