I'm not sure if the USA is the strongest female football team in the world at presently. However, I know that the USA, Brazil and Germany are the best in the world of female football. I can equally say that the female football team of the USA has been more successful than their male counterparts, at least on world stage. I love the women from the USA, they play so well and are ever so dedicated. I wish the women from my country, Nigeria, could achieve similar level of success.

All i know about female football is that Arsenal are incredibly good, and are basically made up of the national team (correct me if I'm wrong and behind the times!). And I only know this because of the only time that I've ever seen it broadcast on TV, for the Women's FA Cup final, which Arsenal always seem to be in. Am I right in saying that the Leeds ladies too are quite a successful part of the club? I think I saw them. I feel I am sounding incredibly ignorant lol, but I just wanted to come on and agree that yes, the time has come for a development of female football.

I have no choice but to agree with you. Why? Because the only English female football club that I'm conversant with is Arsenal FC. The team was on playing tour of Nigeria just few years ago. The team played a couple of matches with the female national team of Nigeria. I think the female national team of Nigeria had played Arsenal female football club when Nigeria was on playing tour of England.

Unfortunately female football has a lot of catching up to do but is getting more popular with not only adult teams but girls teams as well in Scotland. I think it was a couple of years ago that even Celtic started a female team altho my team Hibernian had had a team for quite a while.

I feel there is a great potential for female football to succeed in the United Kingdom. The Football Association of England, Scotland and Ireland (I hope I'm right) should encourage female football league, that's if it is not in existence already. In Nigeria for instance, there are vibrant female football clubs and a female football league.
