Hello Karri. I picked this name because "green" is my favorite color. I want to be straight on green , so "greenline". And, easy to remember !

I like this topic.
My user name is based on child's game I used to play with my friends. When I was a little kid (maybe seven or eight) my neighbor kids and I would play in the backyard. I lived on a cul-de-sac, pretty much in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by fields of corn. So we were pretty isolated. None of us had much money, so we didn't have cable or video games, and this was the early 1980s, so not that much was available anyway. We all (the two boys across the street, the girl and boy next door, the girl on the other side next door, and my sister and myself) used to play outside all the time, and make up games. We used to pretend my jungle gym was a spaceship. I was an alien princess named Opalina. I think I had gotten the name from some children's book. Everyone else had code names too. Mark (Mike) was the captain, Christina (christine, not as original there) was his sidekick, and the others had names too. Some people played villians. WE had a whole arc of stories. My character started as a villian and then became good.
It was amazing what we came up with, just from our imaginations. Kids today have lost that, I think. I had an amazing, fun time with all those games we played. It was a very happy time in my life, and that is why I picked Opalina for my screen name.
143 is the start of my current zip code, similar to yours.

Well, my maiden name is "Olinger".... but that is my adoptive name and has German origins. My birth name is Irish. So, when I told my youth group that I was Irish they all laughed and started the Macdingolinger name.... and it stuck. Sometimes hey just called me "mac".. They had added the mac onto the "dingolinger" because they said I was silly and energetic so hence, dingolinger.... then the mac added to the front and actually they played with my first name too and my full nick was jingles macdingolinger!!
