Little moth upon my sock,
can I hit you with this rock?
It just might break my ankle bone,
but that's okay, I'm in a zone.
The amount you can eat
just chaps my hide,
the hole in my vest
is two inches wide!
My clothes are shredded
thanks to you,
now I'll have to fuss
with buying new.

Thank you for visiting. I mostly write serious stuff, but lately not. I appreciate your comment very much. :O)

that's cute, did you make that up? Have you got any more?

Yes, I wrote it for fun, and I was frustrated also, because this really happened to me. Only the moth made a 1 inch hole instead of 2 inches. I exaggerate the poems sometimes for humor. Thanks for your comment.

Hi clutterbug...love your poem. It's really cute. Keep it up. Writing satirical poems (not too much though) is a good way of relaxing..and easing stress, too. It's really creative to create a masterfully written set of lines inspired by the simplest of things. Keep it up!
