Have you ever fell in love to your best friend or closest friend?

It is pretty obvious that most of us fell in love once or not just once to our best friend or a close friend. When I was young or even now, I still can't avoid it. But as I've heard from most people, there are so little chances that best friends or close friends can be more than friends. Most of us consider friendship is a kind of wall you have to break for you to cross the way to a higher level of relationship. But for me, friendship should be a bridge for friends to be lovers. So if they broke up, they can stay on that bridge and the friendship remains. Does it make sense? Anyway, I almost win a situation for my best friend to be my girlfriend. But it so happened that when the time we found out that we have mutual feelings to each other, I am already committed to someone. But somehow, it made me believe that friends can really be lovers because I know, I win her heart only that it's too late when I learned it.
