How many of you add tag to the discussion ?

This is about tag that mylot asks to add or skip after when we answer the question or star new discussion. It is important when we ask question that through tag many person can find it on net or on mylot related to their subject.
How many of you add or skip that tag?
I always add tag in any discussion, Is there any chance if we not add then they won't count that discussion?

Hi, I do add tags to my discussions, so that it becomes easier for other members who wants to search for particular discussion related to keywords. I think it is a good habit, in that way you can get more responses from the members. But I feel that many members are not using this features and keep on creating new discussions with similar contents, creating duplicate discussions. It will be better that before posting any discussion to check if something similar is already existing. And tags can be very helpful in such searching. No I don't think that if tag is not added it will have any impact on discussion, it is just an additional feature for searching.

Thats why I started this discussion to knwo the opinion and habit of the users on tag. you told great advantage that we can find simillar topic before posting anything here through tag. So this is good feature if everyone add tag to their discussion.

right same here I was also skipping it some time and some time adding tag to the discussion but now I am adding tags to each and every discussion, It will help us indirectly.

I don't I just skip it. It is a waste of my time.
I can bet any money that somebody other than me will always end up tagging the discussion.

Oh so you are not adding any tag to the discussion. It was starting time wehn I was not adding any tag but now I add tag in any discussion.

I was also doing same like in past, adding tag in my quesiton and not adding tag in answers but after some time I don't know why but I feeled and now I am adding tag to the answers also.

I always add at least a tag to my posts and my answers. It is very important when you post something as you get more chances of getting answers.
But I´m sure that if you don´t tag your discusion they will still count it. But it seems not all discusions count the same. If you get no responses is not the same as if you made top discusion at a certain day.

you are absolutely right and my view is same as you, because when we add tag to the quesiton in discussion it helps to increase chances of people visit this and give answer and also search will come from the internet directly through multiple search engines. and thats good they are still counting when we are not adding tags.

I always do tag the discussions. Initially when i started mylotting, i read by experienced mylotters, its good to tag the discussion, as it increases your quality of discussions too. Also by proper tagging, its easier to locate similar types of discussions.
Try to do tag the discussions, it doesn't take much time... Happy mylotting..

Even I am also adding tag at the time of closng any discussion, it helps to attrack people to our discussion and helps to share with others. Ya it don't atale too much time to add tag. do it .
