Well for me, it is very tough to stand apart in a group. I really need tips for standing apart in a group or your experiences in a group. Can you really stand apart???

to apart from others you don't have to do different things, you have to do the same things differently.
don't forget manners and ettiquettes.
talk and laugh softly.
avoid discussing people, instead talk about innovative ideas or give a boost to your sense of humour.
