A question about "to be with you"

I'm the one who wants to be with you (yes, I'm the one) Deep inside I hope you feel it too (you feel it too) Waited on a line of greens and blues Here "on a line of greens and blues", It's really hard to understand, is "greens and blues" a phrase or something? Thanks in advance.

Is this the Mr Big song, I really like it hadn't heard it in years. Can't remember what they said about the line, I think it just flowed in the song. I can't think of any catch phrase from that time. None I or my friends used anyway. Don't recall a movie that use it .
