Remembering such important dates shows how much you are important for them. There are many who is busy in their professional life and never remember birth dates may be because they have so many good friends. So they keep notes or reminders. As far as I concerned, I do remember every dates when I met my partner/ dear ones and their birth dates too. For me I count it as my life's best moments which keeps me happy all the way.

I do expect him to remember my birthday and our anniversary because our anniversary is the day before my birthday. He knows I like that he knows those dates and I am happy when he does.

For my family, I expect them to remember my birthday simply because they are my family. I do not have the same expectations with my friends excepy for my closest friends. For myself, I make it a point to great them. I always save their birthdates on my phone. My phone alarms me in case thier birthday comes.

I hope my son and my spouse can remember my birthday.I believe my family remember the birthday of another.We will have an ice cream cake every birthday in our family.

Sure, I wish he remembers. But what happened? He forgot my birthday, once, he usually is the one who greets me for the first time before anyone else does. That day he forgot until lunch, he suddenly remembered and greeted me. And I was the one who forgot our 5th anniversary. He had to remind me about it that evening. We know that these occasions are important, but we never take it too serious until that becomes a mandatory. What more important is our togetherness every single day, and not dates of some occasions.

Yes but if they forget I'll just let it pass. I'll remind them the next time. I get so forgetful sometimes that I even forget special dates that even concern me.
