Hi, sheena_santi!
Welcome to the Lot!
A woman where I work has nothing to say to anyone if she isn't complaining. When I hear the word "complain," I think of Joyce. Most of us do our best to avoid her, but she doesn't let that happen; she follows a group of us wherever we go, even if we tell her we don't want to have her around. I can tune her out most of the time, but the whining is really an annoyance. We're teachers, so it would seem that, during classes, she wouldn't be a problem. Hardly! Every year, I have students who tell her to go back to her own class and stop interrupting us! When she leaves, I usually remind them that whining is not an attractive quality and we laugh, then go on about our work.

Hi. a word, 'whiner' usually springs to my mind, with a great big picture of a baby. Personally i hate whiners, especially the ones who does nothing about what he/she complained about. That annoys me to no end. If your luck is bad and the world seems to go against you, so what, do something about it or just ignore it if you can't. Complaining won't achieve anything.
Of course, if it's about your rights then it is a whole different matter. Sometimes complaining IS doing something about the problem.
My wife kept complaining to me... why don't I complain anything to or about her, how can she know if there's anything wrong about anything? I've lived so long without complaining about my situation to others it actually hurts my wife. So, sometimes i throw a complain or two at her just to keep her happy, Seriously, I'm not joking, it does wonders to my relationship.
