Have you ever regret posting a certain topic of discussion in myLot?

We all try our best to post the best and interesting topic for discussion in here, hoping to get good responses from myLot members. Somehow, sometimes, topics that we think are great, just doesn't look right ONCE we have submitted the post and when it's out there and we read it back, it doesn't seem nice.
Then we regretted posting it. But what can we do? I don't think we can ever edit or delete our discussion once we've submitted it and it's posted here rite?
So we just have to live with it and learn from the error, hoping that we wont do the same mistake again. And along the way crossing our fingers that the responses wont be to harsh on us. After all, we myLotters are humans too and humans make mistakes.
So, tell me, have you ever regretted posting a certain topic of discussion in myLot and what did you do to deal with it?

Not really. This site has much more respectful posters than some other forums. It's hard though when there is no edit button.

purplelilac, my problem is not on the edit button. It's like when I wrote down the discussion, they seem fine to me, but once it's posted and responses comes in different ways, makes me realise, readers view it differently. I didn't get my message across clearly that leads to some misunderstanding and then, I started to regret it. But by then, too late. So, I just learn to live with it.

Yes i have read back over topic and post in mylot that i have done and hated them, either i said something stupid or totally not relevant, but it is not just in mylot other forums that don't allow you to edit your post i may write something really quickly and read it back after and realise that it just doesn't help or make a good contribution, it's just there showing how silly i was.

goapples, but come to think of it, when we do read back our first few discussions, we can actually sit down and laugh at it. And as we progress, we can see how we mature with myLot. As for me, I started off silly, then I hit the jackpot, then I degress. Hmm, time to buck up again!
