Most of us maybe have experienced insomnia. It is very common in such a fast-paced society. When we ere young, we may have insomnia because we are energetic. In our middle age, we may often suffer from insomnia due to those botherable things. In our old age, we have more insomnia because of our degradation of physilogical function. I just experience the first step and start the second step. This is very apparent when i was in high-school and college. Now in some time, i have insomnia due to my daily work or some unpleasant things. So did you expeience insomnia many times? And are in which step?

I sometimes can't fall asleep, that's because i am in a very tough program in college and there is always that fear that i'll fail something or give a patient a wrong pill lol. I usually take valerian root extract and it calms me down so i can fall asleep

Yes, I do have experience the same when I was in school. I don't know why? But I think it is common. Many of my classmates have the same symptom as it is not a disease. May be because of more and more pressure and daily routine work, this happened, no time for rest. Also that's the growing stage of both girl and boys. As I know this very well that this affects all the age groups. And in adult insomnia affects woman more than men.

Hi airakumar,
Thanks for you response.
It is very common in our school life, as in this time, we are energetic and sleep unregularly. It is often functional and is not a disease. What we need is just sleep regularly and do not stay up all night very often. And in adult insomnia affects woman more than men, as woman is more sentimental than men and is more vulnerable to their hormone change.
Happy mylotting!

I've experienced insomnia before and I really need to find interventions for it. They say, drinking warm milk before going to bed could help because it contains the enzyme tryptophan. But some research says that it doesn't. Up to now, I still don't know what the real deal between insomnia and warm milk. But I'm glad I'm no longer suffering from insomnia. I didn't really made a special management for it. What I did is more into psychological modification.
