Have you ever been happy but scared at the same time?

I am so happy with my life right now. Everything is great. My family is well, I'm pretty happy with my job and my boyfriend is really a blessing to me. The thing is this scares me a little because we all know that things can be taken away from you in an instant. As the song goes, life has a funny way of sneaking up on you. Sometimes I wish that I could just stay in this moment of my life so that I can be forever happy but I also know that eventually things will change, I will grow old and there will be more life experiences ahead of me. Am I the only one who feels like this? How about you? Did you have this kind of feeling in your life?

Two weeks ago my baby girl was born at home. I was so happy to see her. She looked so beautiful and it felt magical to hold her. At the same time I felt sad because delivering the placenta was difficult and painful. I was shocked when four blood clots came out and then my midwife couldn't stop me bleeding. I was happy to have my adorable baby girl but I was disappointed to lose two and a half liters of blood. I was happy to have my baby but scared to be heading to hospital in an ambulance. My good health was taken away from me and it is taking weeks for my strength to return. When I was in my hospital bed a consultant said "You are probably going to die" and that really upset me. I couldn't stop shaking with terror. Now I am glad to be back at home and gaining some wellness. I am delighted my fainting has stopped. My baby girl is so lovely and I am lucky to have her.

I marked this as the best post because the story is so inspiring. I hope your health will be back on track so that you can take care of your baby girl. She is so lucky to have a mother like you. :)

But who knows maybe the reason why things are going smoothly is because it is the reward for things going roughly before. Life is really unpredictable. I should know that by now. :)
