Some very good ideas you have here, and a good discussion. Unfortunately I do not recycle or clean highways, but I have started a prayer walk in our city, every Saturday night. We have only started recently but the good thing that already came from it, is the fact that people become aware of the needs in the city and start to come up with ideas to improve the lives of some people.
With the Lord's help we will soon be able to launce a few projects in our city. There are other projects going but the need is very large and you can never have too many projects to help the needy and also to clean up the city.
Many blessings.

Hey I really like that idea. When I was still in school I started a prayer at the pole every morning. When I first started it only two people showed up. However everyday more and more people came. The school was small so eventually EVERYBODY came to the pole at one point. I like to think that made a difference in some peoples lives.

You can start making a difference by not throwing trash everywhere.
Even candy wrappers can clog drainage thus causing floods on low areas.
If you have more time, you can plant a tree.
It will help the environment in the long run.
Happy mylotting!
