This crime can really hurt people. Perhaps, it is a good idea to have your credit monitored. The earlier you catch this. The less of a mess it is.

Hi, Sheena! I've been a victim twice, several years apart. Now, I have identity theft coverage on every account, and it's caught four recent attempts. I'm not wealthy, by any means, so why not pick on people who are not in debt? Better yet, if you want something, earn it! Don't invade my hard-earned little bit to get yourself whatever it is you want! It's such a hurtful thing. The victim feels totally violated and loses faith in a lot of things and people. Crime in general stinks, but this particular crime is devastating. It left me unable to pay bills, so my credit ratings were destroyed, and I've tried an tried, but I've never been able to build that back up as it should be. I guess the thieves must thin it's cool to get whatever they want while someone else pays the bill, but they do far more damage than they probably realize. It's one of the great horrors of our times.
