it depends on what i have in mind when i call him, sometimes Vin (his name is Vincent) sometimes honey, sometimes Vin Diesel (he hates it, but he kind of looks like this actor lol) sometimes Van Gough (my grandmother started it, it was her way of remembering his name... but more often it's love or my love...

It really depends on what comes at that moment. It so interesting and adds more love.

I don't use any of the traditional pet names, and neither does he.....but when I want to sound affectionate, his name is Mark, but I call him Marky. It's endearing because the only time I call him Marky is when I'm happy with him

We call each other 'bebe' shorter form for baby.
We're both big though so it's not really appropriate, but I really like calling my man 'bebe' hehe.

Big? love sees no age. Great that you still call each other such sweet names. Continue loving each other.

I don't think I've called my husband by his real name in months. Literally. Unless I'm talking to other people and he's not there, I'll say "Tim." Other than that, it's always a number of things..."Honey Buns", "Cutie Pie", "Honey Bunches of Oats" (DON'T ASK, haha), "Sweetie", and there are more but too many to put here. His two favorites for me are "Honey Buns" and "Gorgeous Pie." We like to add the word Pie to everything...haha.
It's so cute because sometimes we'll be in the middle of a store but in different aisles, and I'll hear, "Honey buns? Oh, honey buns!" It's so adorable that I can't get embarrassed if strangers hear. He's done that once when I've been next to another customer, and they just burst out laughing. I shrugged and said, "I don't think he knows my real name...and we're married!" :)
