I used to greet my boyfriend when i wake up, but i ended up getting the same "um.... i want to sleep, let me sleep, it's 7am for god's sake" so i stoped lol my cats greet me in the morning by "meow, pet me" and once they got enough petting it's "meow, give me food"

You made me laugh almost my lungs out. Well, maybe your timing was poor. Try again this time. The pets, so cool with you

I greet my 2 year old boy when we wake up every morning and wish each other good nite before we go to bed. Funny thing though, I only wish my husband good nite but not greet him in the morning. Maybe because by the time my boy and I are awake and went downstairs, my husband is still sleeping. By the time he is awake, I will be too busy with something else, like cooking. So I dont greet him in the morning.

Atleast you have someone whom you greet. A family member. It's important

Depends on the situation. If I'm home in CT I will say good morning to whoever is home at the time. But when I'm at my apartment with my boyfriend we will sometimes say good morning, but now that I'm unemployed sometimes he wakes up before me and goes to work.

Ok. I see. It really depends on the situation. Waking up from same bed without.... lol.

No, it makes me more grumpy, if I talk to anyone when I first wake up. I need at least a few minutes of quiet to myself, before I can tolerate talking to any people :P
When I do see them, they come talk to me, I don't usually seek them out.
I say hi to my dog, in the morning... does that count? lol

This question made me laugh! I laugh because my answer is no, I live by myself but my dad is a big jokester and every once in a while he calls me at 2 or 3 in the morning when he gets up for work. I'll rush to my phone thinking no one calls at that hour unless it's an emergency. When I answer my dad will say something like "your a cure little doofus" or "hiya bonehead" and hang up.
I guess that's sorta like greeting me when he wakes up.... or not...
