What if you are a salesman in the company and your boss told you to make a sale without you using the computer or the internet in the office...what would you think about that man?or if you are a computer technician in the company and your boss told you that you are not authorized to use the internet and any computer in the company...what can you say about this kind of boss?

Hmm, I'd think the salesman bit was a test of initiative and use the phone. If I was the computer technician, I'd take a good book or an iPod into work with me because I imagine there wouldn't be a lot else for me to do!! Maybe the boss is a bit of a technophobe??

This kind of boss must be very outdated and he also will not trust others. He is afraid that you just misuse the internet and do you own business rather than work. So he doesn't allow to use it. Especially as a computer technician, it is a bad news that he is not authorized to use the internet. As sometimes you need to find the solution via the net.
