i just wondered. what are the preferences in sleepwear of Filipinos? mine are dusters. my boyfriend says i look like a manang (an old lady). i don't mind. just as long as i can sleep comfortably when i wear it while i'm sleeping. i know some who wears boxers of men. and there's the typical shorts and a shirt on. i also noticed how in department stores there are little selection of sleepwear. i wonder why... so i'm thinking of having a boutique of sleepwear. do you think it would sell? my mom and i had this conversation days ago about this. she thinks that Filipinos nowadays wouldn't care about sleepwear since we are going through tough times. she's right i guess. but i would like to think that when you have good sleep because of what you wore that night when you wake up you'll probably can do anything. :)

I prefer to wear short and T-shirt I get used to it. I don't want to wear duster I'm not comfortable to wear that. My mother is love wearing duster and it makes her comfortable while sleeping. I can't imagine myself wearing duster even my siblings don't wear it. Now a days you seldom see teenagers wearing duster. I agree that Filipinos don't mind what they wearing when they are sleeping.

Personally I don't have any sleepwears, I just wear whatever house dress I have. Usually its shorts and shirt. But when I started living with my boyfriend, i change preferences, I have sleepwears right now usually something sexy like tank tops or something lacy.

i don't really have a sleepwear in the strictest sense of the word but i do feel comfortable wearing boxers when i sleep. i do away with the shirt as well as it tends to get hot and humid at night.
anyway, i've slept with women who wear real nice lingerrie when sleeping... from sexy thongs up to lacy underwear, i think women have different preferences when it comes to sleepwear.
cheers!!!

The country is humid and hot - the lighter the clothing, the better it would be. I prefer spaghetti strap shirts and shorts.

And oh, let me add that I love to wear old sleeveless t-shirts that are already a bit tattered on the edges. I could not get rid of them just yet because they are so light and comfortable!

I wear sleeveless shirts for tops and shorts when the weather is humid. When it get too cold at night I slip into my pajamas and wear socks because I don't use a sheet or a blanket when I sleep at night.

When I was in grade school i had dusters for sleeping but when i was in high school i prefer the short shorts and tshirt and when i was in college i still prefer the shorts and tshirt or pajamas because there were times when it was really cold early morning. Now adays or nights, i sleep with shorts and spaghetti tops or sleeves less loose shirts because it's really humid now and so hot even when it's the rainy season.
I havent worn a duster eversince grade school becasue yeah it's so "manang" LOL and it's really uncomfortable as you keep on dragging it up your kness when you sit.
