Hi everyone. We all have a preference or style when it comes to our favorite way to dress. I like classical clothing, say, as opposed to trendy styles, though one or two of those are fun. And even when dressing formal, I like to go for comfort and a more classic look, too, as opposed to "glamorous" or "glittery." What is your favorite style or look when it comes to the way you like your clothes to look?

Hi Yugasini. Dress pants and a nice shirt are always stylish. I wear those when going out to shop and such. Prefer to save the most casual clothing for at-home wear :)

Hi Karen!
I prefer comfort and simple clothes rather than going for some glittery clothes. I think while choosing our clothes and wearing those clothes comfort factor should be of prime importance. I pick the colours as per the season/weather. In summers, I prefer wearing light shade clothes, while in winters dark colours could be worn. Incidentally, I look handsome in both dark colours and light colour clothes.

LOL, well now, I am sure you would look handsome even in a potato sack! LOL. Like you, I love to dress for comfort, as well as style. Light colors reflect sun and keep away some of the heat, so I choose those for summer, but do love darker shades in the winter time :)

Hi Karen!
So we both have same choice and tastes, as far as wearing comfortable and light colour clothes are concerned. And thanks for telling me that I'll look good even in Potato sack (now you have seen my photo, therefore, you can comment easily on this issue)

Hi Vijay. It sounds as though you dress very neatly wherever you go. Light colored tops are a favorite of mine, too, especially white as it goes with anything and everything. But I do also have "brights."

Hello my friend PeacefulWmn9 Ji,
WEll, I am Indian woman of more than 65 now and right from child-hood following my customary dresses as per age group. I have never used any other style while dressing other than sarees. Further, it should suit to occasion. If I am inside my house, I prefer different, while going to Office, it will differ even on some ceremonies, attending a wedding would be glamourous, and even it will difefr for going to temple. But i always wear saree, which is very much comfortable to me at all occasions. When I went to US and lived tehre fior six months, I always wore a saree. It had lot many plus points.
May god bless You and have a great time.

Hello my friend. The image of sarees you have posted shows them to be so very beautiful! All colors and fabrics seem to be represented. They do indeed look comfortable. I can see how they would be right for every occasion. Thank you for sharing that. You've shown me something I did not know, and I love to learn about such things.
God bless you.

Hi Karen....LOL....I say this because the only style I adopt is one that is comfortable.
I was never one to follow fashion trends and I have a daughter and grandaughter just exactly the same way. I guess you could call I us eccentric.
The good thing about this though is being able to shop in the thrift stores for all the throw-offs from people who want to follow fashion and be the most un comfortable people in the world...they may look like a million dollars but are so uncomfortable they can't wait to get home and change into sweats or jeans.
Me...I stay comfortable all the time.

Ah Flutter :) Then you do have a style: comfort. LOL
That is of great importance to me, as well, no matter whether dressed up or down, it MUST be comfortable. Trends come and go but comfy clothes are always in.

It really all depends on where I am going, but I will usually just wear a pair of jeans and a pull-over shirt, or maybe a button-up shirt. I am not much on dress clothes, but I will wear them if I have to.

I am more casual than dressy on most days, too, but I do enjoy dressing up for special occasions or when the function calls for it as most appropriate. I think one has to have a few dress clothes, just in case :)

Hi Pat. I think jeans and T's are classics. They just never seem to go out of style. And yes, barn boots would be must for you!

i've really changed my style - a few years ago when I was at college I lived in jeans and tshirt, but i've become much more classical in the past couple of years. I love to wear a smart pencil skirt with a pretty blouse. Got to admit its not quite as comfortable an outfit but i feel so much more feminine, especially as I'm usually the only girl in the office to be wearing a skirt

hello mavis. that is a big change, yes, but its nice to feel your feminity. such outfits for me can be made more comfortable if the material has a bit of spandex or similar material added for some give. i think many of us change our style when out of school, sometimes for our job, or sometimes just because we want a change
