Lets face it, no one likes being sick. It drains all your energy. But, why is it that people have to wait until they are sick to actually do something about. No one takes the neccessary steps to actually help prevent diseases by exercising, maintaining a healthy diet, and taking the neccessary vitamins and supplements in order to prevent some of the diseases we get. www.abenitez.my4life.com

Some people don't take preventative measures because they can't afford to. Studies show that people who are low income or impoverished are statistically more likely to have various illnesses ranging from temporary ones like colds to more serious problems like heart disease. The cruel fact is that healthy, unprocessed foods like fresh fruits and vegetables and lean meats tend to be more expensive than unhealthy foods. Vitamin supplements aren't all that cheap either, unless you're willing to risk taking the ones from the dollar store, and who knows what's in those or how long they've been on the shelf! For people who can afford to keep a healthy lifestyle, I agree with you. They should spend a little more effort on staying healthy instead of waiting til they're already sick to try to fix the problem.

Thank You for the great comment, I do agree with you some people can not afford it. But, there are ways to limit your spending in some ways in order to maintain a healthier lifestyle. I understand that in some cases you just dont make enough to do that, but that is not the case for everyone. I agree with you 100% especially when the cost of healthcare is so much, preventive measures end up going a long way.

I do not like taking medicines but I do take care of myself by having some home remedies ready in my cabinet. I don't believe in antibiotics and flu medicines. I believe they do more harm than good and only suppress the symptoms.Cheers!!!
