20-20 Cricket.. Too MuCh...

2o - 20 cricket format is good for cricket fans who watch cricket for sixes and fours. recently there is a twenty twenty cricket world cup held in england. cricket fans enjoys the lot in this world cup. this world cup was won by pakistan with great efforts. now ICC also declared next world cup schedule which will be held next year in west indies.

Dear cool, have you felt boring while watching a 20-20 match??? 20-20 game improves the innovation of the players.I can accept your view if ICC have done this with the 50-50 WC but 20-20 WC gets over in 20 days.Moreover, a team has to play a maximum of 7 games which is 280 overs in a span of 20 days.Cricket is the game which has maximum no. of viewers in India but its status is well behind football and tennis in world level.To gather more viewers all over the world ICC has taken this step.As a cricketer all have to co-operate and raise the level of cricket.So, I feel 20-20 WC should be held once in a year.

For money ICC can do anything? Dude ICC is not a private form, it's a governing body. The revenue they earns goes to the respective governments and ultimately for the good of the people. T20 world should be held every year, and there's nothing wrong about that.

well good to see someone else shouting against too much T20 matches besides me.i agree that even though T20 is very short,it should be given atleast a space of 10 months between 2 world cups if not 2 years.inbetween these 9 months,there is IPL( probably 2 seasons),champions trophy,and almost every series has atleast one T20. one question for the so called T20 fans if ICC is planning to save test matches which inturn means saving cricket,why create such a short format played this often that people now dont watch ODI matches and call it boring.guess what would they call the test matches?

Hello cool_bollywood this is checkmail and somewhat agree with you but for some reasons.In T-20 cricket we got all the players involved as an team.The teams in ICC T-20 tournament involves diffent players, which makes difference in the understanding among themselves.Its not easy to get each other within such a short time span.As regular players and irregular(20-20 specialist) players have much difference in their techniques, there is lot of doub't created.Its also such a short game where hardly a batsman gets to bat not even minimum 2 overs, say 11 players 22 overs.But still its more of a high glamour game which is much low in level in respect to International cricket 50 overs match were the real talent is required and presented by teh players. So basically you can call 20-20 anybody's game. GoodLuck.
