Rest in peace Major

Yesterday afternoon I had to put down my gelding Major down! He was 31 years old and had a full life! He is now in horse heaven with horses like Trigger,Seattle Slew and Man o'War running around in never ending fields of green grass! I will miss Major! I had him almost 27 years! If Major had been able to hold on until July 28th it would of been 27 years since I got him! He didn't but I know he is in peace now! I was proud and happy to have him for as long as I did! Not many horse owners can say that! Luckily I didn't have to send Major's body to the near by pet food factory to become pet food! Major was buried in the back pasture of the stable where Major spent alot of good times over the years! A friend is making a plaque for me to put on Major's grave! He will be missed!
