I have two laptops. Both of them are Thinkpad. One (T60) was bought as a fully new product about 2 years ago, and the other one (X40) is a secone-hand one recently. As we know, Thinkpad brand has been bought by Lenovo. Many guys in my country think that the quality of Thinkpad is worse than before since Lenovo's operation. The color is black and ever changed. It's cool, quite, mature in my point of view. And trackpoint is another big figure of it. Very convinent and you may even forget about mouse if you use the laptop outside when doing not very complicated manuplations. Reason why I chose Thinkpad are mainly its high quality and stability. About 2-3 times, T60 slipped down from my bed to the floor when running. But after I picked it up, it worked well still. The price is still higher in China, as we have higher tax, even to the laptop produced in ourselves. Hardly understandable. Also, HP, DEll are two other brands I suggest.

Hey, The brand of my laptop is Asus, and I am really happy with it. Although it doesn't boast all the latest specifications, it still has a Core 2 Duo processor, and 2GB RAM so it does all I actually need it to do. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

The brand of my laptop is DELL, I bought it because I think the quality of dell is very good and it has good reputation among people around me. And there is something I am not quite satisfactory. My laptop is very easy to get hot, and there is something wrong with my battery.

I have a Compaq Presario. At first, It had memory. I recently upgraded it and now it has been performing well. I did not have much problem with this unit aside from the battery. It gets drained so fast.

I have my toshiba, and the one previous to this was an HP. I think Toshiba is rather user friendly. Hp, I had some issues with, used to Hang often and I had to reboot so many times. Always feared I'll loose my data, so kept taking backups regularly...Toshiba rocks and my hubby has purchased Mac lappie today, not sure how it runs, will keep you posted!
