I am looking for a health insurance plan for me only. I have been reviewing plans online and it seems for about $300 a month with deductible of $5,000. Didn't say about co=pays. But here's my thought... I have to pay $300 a month which is about $3500 a year, PLUS $5,000 deductible (and co-pays are not counted toward that) before my isurance kicks in to pay a percentage. I have to pay $8,000 a year before my insurance is even "usable"... am I getting that right? CAuse it sure sounds like a scam to me...
DO you have a plan that is affordable while still being worthwhile?

i don't have a health insurance since i get full cover by my company. but i have a critical illness insurance plus investment. and it cost me quite high. now i realized that i join too high insurance plus investment scheme which make my daily cashflow poor.

My health insurance doesn't cost me a thing. I have OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) since I'm a Canadian citizen. Living in Canada, everyone is entitled to health insurance, and the only ones who don't have it are members of religious groups who don't believe in help from the government.
