The festivities are about to begin here in St. Louis. Sheryl Crow will be here tonight under the arch in concert. Major League Baseball donated the money to hold the concert tonight to benefit Children's Hospital. The homerun derby will be either tomorrow or Monday. And of course I am pulling for Albert Pujols. The All Start Game will be here Tuesday. The new stadium has been groomed to the finest. Etched in the grass is the Gateway Arch. It's amazing. So when you watch the game, think of me and how I am staying home where it's cool and enjoying the sites of St. Louis via television. Good luck to both teams. Special good luck to the National League.

So much is going on here this weekend and the first of next week. People all over everywhere. Personally I don't like the high humidity we have and I have lived here all my life. Hope you were able to see some neat sites and had fun during your visit to St. Louis. Thanks for responding.

Stayed at the Senators Estate...had a ball...they were in Arizona, but we got full run of the 300 acre estate...beautiful........we went to Six Flaggs too but it was 98 degrees out and was slitely disappointed as we have Cedar Point here in Ohio...MUCH BIGGER!!! Have you ever been to Cedar Point? It is a MUST if you are ever in Ohio............:)

I wish I could go to the All Star Game. I have always wanted to go to one since I was a little girl and now this season it is in St. Louis! I have been a Cardinals fan since I was a little girl. I even wanted to decorate my bedroom in a St. Louis Cardinals theme and my parents helped me do so.
I did get a chance to take my daughter to a game in May! It was awesome! We had a blast! I wish I lived closer to St. Louis, I would go to games ALL THE TIME!
Now, I do have a downer though. I don't have cable or anything. I do have a converter box so I can watch local channels but wouldn't you know, I don't get the channel that the All-Star Game is going to be broadcast on. Such a bummer, in my favorite teams stadium and I can't even watch it on television. I might have to call up a friend and see if I can watch it at their house, I guess. Only solution that I can come up with!I uploaded a picture of my Cardinals bedroom that I had when I was a kid. My parents still have it decorated like this, they never did change it when I moved out over 10 years ago!

That's a cool picture of your Cardinal bedroom. You really are a fan. I wouldn't go even if I had the chance because of the heat and humidity. We are season ticket holders but weren't offered the opportunity to buy all star tickets unless my husband didn't tell me..lol Thanks for responding.

How wonderful of Sheryl to don't to the Children's Hospital. Sounds like a great time should be had. I'll keep you in my thoughts and will have to watch to see the grass etching sounds interesting.

That's very exciting. Wonderful that they are donating the money to such a wonderful cause.

Hi carolbee,
Sometimes its best to watch it on television as you can see more then when are there, so enjoy your games and relax.

Ah it was a fun game . . . too bad the National League couldn't pull it off . . . again. I love the Gateway Arch. Dodger Stadium doesn't have such a land mark and the Angels have the Big A thinga-me-doodle. It's not exactly the Arch but we love it.

Major League Baseball is just great isn't it? I went to see the Royals and Sox play the 4th of July and guess they knew i was there cause they won. haha I go to a royals game a couple times a year would go to Cards but the Royals stadium is easier to get to. I get lost every time I come to St Louis.
Would have been nice to come see the game this week but have to take sister to get cancer treatment so I will have to settle for part of it on TV I reckon.

I do love baseball. We are going to the game this Tues. Cards are playing the Astros. St. Louis is huge and some of the streets downtown are one way and it can be a mess trying to figure out how to get out of there! So kind of you to take your sister for treatments. Thanks for responding.
