This and summer is really hot and I always try to be and also have my family hidrated. I have asked some friends and family members what they do to quench their thirst and they gave me some goo options. I would like to hear from you, do you think the fallowing drink help quench the thirst?
Water? Milk? Soda? Beer? Lemonade or Limeade? Coconot water? Wine?
I like to drink a glass of cold water with ice and a little lime or lemon juice to quench my thirst. How about you, what do you drink to quench your thirst? and why?

I was also told that coconut water help you lose some fat I have no idea if that is true since I have never done it. I did not ask how since I don't like regular coconut water when I drink coconut water I would add sugar or some limon, salt and chili powder.

Nothing quenches me more than a super cold water especially when I came from a super hot day! We always keep cold water because it is really hot here but in case we ran out of water, we have sodas for replacement. Because of the sugar content, it gives me additional energy

I have tried to stop bying sodas because we drink alot but at the end I would buy some maybe a day or two after going to the store. My husband likes to drink alot of water I don't know how he those it I normally don't drink more than a glass of water a day that is if I drink any. I know I should drink more water but I always try but so far I have not done it either I forget or I will drink other stuff.

I think I would rather go with some orage juice especialy if it fresh or something close to being fresh. But milk I don't think it would work for me because I really do not like the taste but it is a good idea for my 1 year old. Thanks and happy mylotting.

The thing that quenches my thirst is Ice cold green tea unsweetened. It is so good. The only other thing that comes in second would be a cold glass of water. Sweet drinks don't work. It just makes you more thirsty.

Water has always been my favorite drink. When I'm super dehydrated, sometimes I'll drink a yellow gatorade, but mostly only after I've been working. I manage a pizza restaurant, so after standing in front of an open oven for 10 or 12 hours, sometimes I need something with a little more kick than water. But most of the time, it feels like the cleanest and most effective thing to put in my body.

I do like bottle water but when I get water from a restaurant I like to put a little bit of limen juice to get the tap water taste. I also like gatorade and vitamin waters the taste is good and they are not that sweet. Than you for you coment.

This year, I've started drinking a lot of Crystal Light, either the real thing or the generic equivalent. I especially like the Fruit Punch and the Raspberry Lemonade flavor. They are really satisfying. I don't like water too well so drinking those help me gets a lot of water.

i make fresh brewed iced tea every day. i leave it unsweetened and with no lemon and each person can make their own glass with what they like that way. tea has alot of health benefits, is tasty and quenches your thirst. i mix differnt kinds of teas to make interesting new flavors to keep it interesting. i also like decaffeinated iced coffee as i try to stay away from too much caffeine and of course spring water and seltzer. once in awhile i will have a diet soda as i still have cravings for soda now and then. sometimes nothing else will do the trick for me. i like lemondade but not too tart and not too sweet and i will be honest making it from scratch is a giant pain in the neck so i rarely if ever make it homemade. there are some good ones out there but i think they all have too much sugar.

Pure water, hands down. All the others make me thirstier, I don't know why. A big glass of water is what fully hydrates me, whether it's cold or not. Besides, I don't like impurities on my drinks. I just want what my body needs. Fluid.

I am one that does not require alot of liquids, however, if I am thirsty, the drink that I go for is a nice glass of cold milk. I do think milk quenches my thirst more than any other drink. Water does, but I don't enjoy the taste of water, and everything else is too sweet, and just makes me want to drink more. In the summer, I do enjoy a nice glass of Ice Coffee, but the sugar I put in it, isn't not really helpful to my diet.

Water, milk, or juice. I rarely drink soda to "quench thirst"(because it's kinda silly, soda has sodium in it...which really just ends up dehydrating you further).
Milk is more for meals than leisure though, so usually it ends up being water or juice. Juice usually has ice cubes, but putting them in water feels a little redundant to me...so I don't tend to do that. Long as the water's cool, it's good.

In very very hot weather, I always buy a bottle of Sprite. If not water is sufficient to quench my thirst in hot days.

Hello there! water would be the best liquid to go with in the summer . And make sure you drink luke warm water . Generally , it satisfies your thirst better for a lesser quantity than drinking a glass of cold water .
Else , Coconut water is one of the best drink to go with . But , it would be hard to store coconut water at home all the time .
