Software for visitors!

Is there a software from where i can know who visits my blog?I care about watching how many visitors i have every day and not so much who vivited or from where.I have used some but did not like them at all.Is these kind of programms against google adsense??I do not want to be banned!!!

I use the free Feedjit widget, which shows how and where visitors come from. Many use that widget - but need to customize it a bit...
