Is this dream or not?

Lately, I've been confusing about my sleep. It was like a dream, but I did believe it wasn't a dream because it was my room and I was lying down in my bed like usually I wake up. But strangely, I couldn't move my body even my finger. I tried to call my mum, but I couldn't do it. My voice didn't come out. After 10-15 minutes I tried, suddenly I woke up from my bed. And I felt exhausted.
Have you experienced it? Could you tell me what is it?

This had occured to me very often, when you are very tired or when you take some pills or when you didnt have a proper sleep. Its nothing but simple, your brain has asked you to wake up,it has issued the signals, but your body which is at rest is not able to oblige it,carry out it.dont worry ,it occurs sometimes.

well i experienced it a month ago...
its no dream
its Sleep paralysis
its closely related to paralysis that occurs durin REM state that is rapid eye movement state..it occurs when brain awakes from REM state but BOdy paralysis persists..leaves the person fully conscious but unable to move..you may create panic symptoms after that but nothing to worry about
you are not alone \m/ hehe

I too experienced something like this when I was a young child, say 10 years old. I thought I was awake, but so frightened regarding 'something' I could not move. Frozen solid to the bed, straining my muscles in order to move but to no avail. Very scary. I would try to scream to alert my parents for there were no words, just like you discribed. Thankfully , it only happened a few times and although I used to dread going to bed each night, it has never happened since! I am now 38, and felt compelled to give you my experience, in a hope I help you with yours. I remember it so vividly, so sorry you are experiencing it also.
