I change shampoo from time to time. I choose shampoo by their effect on my hair, the smell and also recommendation by friends.
My top three favorite shampoo are Pantene, Palmolive Pink and Sunsilk Pink. How about you? What are your criteria in choosing a shampoo and what are your top three favorite?

when i am still a student i am using vidal sassoon! i think my hair likes it coz my hair even curly is soft and it smells good!
now i don't use that anymore coz i can't find it in stores here and so i use Rejoice color green...i like its menthol effect and i feel like i am totally clean with it and really free from dundruff!
and another one that i like is Pantene, any color can do coz i find all nice and good smelling!

Hi there!
I used that before too! I think I was in my grade six in elementary when that was sold here in the Philippines. Yeah, I miss that shampoo too. I think I was able to use it just for a couple of years or so and then it went out of the market.
i like the scent of Rejoice's fruity variant. I used that about three years ago.
Thank you very much for your response.

Oh, I also try to buy the biggest bottle once I already trust a certain brand of shampoo. We can save more by doing that.

I have been using a cheap shampoo lately but decided to switch to a really nice herbal essence shampoo. I think you are suppose to change your shampoo every so often because your hair will get used to it and it could cause dandruff. Let me know if you agree and I tend to change as much as I can but every few months sounds like a great idea. Take care and happy mylotting to you.

Hi there Mom Trying 2 Make it!
Yeah, I change shampoo now every week. I just have two brands which I use alternately, though. Last week, I used Palmolive White and this week, I am using Sunsilk Summer Fresh. I like the cool feeling from the watermelon in their Summer Fresh Limited Edition Shampoo.
Thank you very much for your response.

I don't change shampoos often; once I found some brand/formula that suits me, I would stick to it, unless they change the formula or increase the price. Right now, my favorite is Himalayas Herbal - I like the herbal smell. Other than that, I don't have any other favorite brands; however I do like the smell of green tea shampoos.

Hi there Lazeebee!
Thank you very much for your response. I haven't heard about Himalayas Herbal but I like the smell of green tea shampoos too. My cousin uses one, from Avon, I think and I like its smell.

Yeah, herbal essences doesnt do what it says it does on the bottle, it just smells really good. But the dove shampoo i get is in a blue bottle, it says deep intense moisturizing shampoo. it works so good. and pantene also makes this one called ice shine. I get that and once my hair drys i straighten it, and its so shiney! its like those ladies you see on the hair commercials! I love it so much. I never thought my hair could look like theirs.

Hi there Emma's Momma!
Thank you very much for your response. I guess I would have to try that Dove Shampoo. I always thought attaining hair like those in shampoo commercial models is impossible and it was done with a few camera tricks to make it look that way. Can't wait to see my own hair like that.

Normally when i get shampoos, i check to see what they smell like, and i normally go for the ones that hydrate your hair. My hair is prone to getting really dry really easy, and somedays its just impossible to deal with. I think my top 3 would be dove, pantene, and then herbal essences. I love the way herbal essences smells. If it worked as well as dove i think id use it everyday. But when i use the dove hydrating shampoo and conditioner, its just so easy to straighten my hair, and its so soft and easy to deal with. i love it!

Hi there Emma's Momma!
I love good smelling shampoos and among the shampoos that I used, I love Pantene Green's smell. It smells like a Calvin Klein perfume. My hair gets dry most of the time too. Maybe it's because of too much heat from the sun. It also causes split ends that's why I'm having a hard time growing my hair longer.
Yeah, Herbal Essence smells good but it doesn't really make my hair silky the way I want it to be but I think it's case to case basis. My sister loves Clear shampoo but it just doesn't work for me as well. I haven't tried dove though, I didn't even know that they have a shampoo. I should keep my eye open for it when we go to buy grocery.
Thank you very much for your response.
