Did anyone watch the 2hr finale last night? If so, what did you think?
I've been watching it since the first episode. And I must say, I enjoyed it.
It was a nice mystery. I knew the killer wasn't the sheriff or Jimmy.
I didn't suspect Henry until his brother was killed. Remember after they had taken JD's body back to town with them and Henry's wounds were being taken care of by Trish. She asked him how'd he got cut up. And he said he didn't remember. I was like 'yeah right'. You will remember getting cuts like those.
My sister was watching it with me and I told her about Henry. But she didnt think it was him. She was leading towards Madison being the killer. I'm not going to lie, I thought it might've been her also. The girl did strange, evil-like things throughout the series and she was my number one suspect. All in all, I really like the show. For an even better twist to the ending. I think they should have had Madison kill her mother before the coastguard reached them. Madison could've been Wakefield's daughter. He was in Seattle for a while. Who's to say, he didn't have another child while he was there.
This would've been an opening to another series. Like I said, I really liked that series.

That's cool Ashia. I guess Harpers Island isn't for anyone. Thanks for you comment though. :)

I loved the show myself. It had me guessing from the beginning to the end and I liked that. And the ending, Who would've seen it coming? I sure didn't. I hope CBS does another series like this also.

My brother and I watched the series. He was a little more dedicated to it than I was though, for example I missed the episode where JD was killed.
I enjoyed it, and we both thought Jimmy was the accomplice until the finale. They set it up pretty well. At a point during the finale, I mentioned that maybe it was Henry that was the second killer, and my brother couldn't even think that was a possibility. He was more suspicious of Madison's mother.
We really didn't like Henry being the killer. But I guess, if they were going for shock value, they succeeded. We were both glad that Jimmy didn't get killed off.
I heard they were going to have another 1 season series next year, but Harper's Island didn't do well enough and the idea was scrapped. It's too bad, we really like the format.

Yeah, my sister and I were glad Jimmy didn't die either. Hate that they scrapped the idea. I believe alot of people like the format.
It's way better than watching some reality tv shows they seem to have on all of the networks these days.
