If I want to start selling on the internet,what items should I sell? I want to start a small retail business on the internet?What should I sell? What kind of items sell on the internet?

I sometimes sell books on Trademe (In NZ - similar to ebay) and imported hand tools from USA. Easy to sell, but often at lower than ideal prices, due to plenty of competition. Old vinyl records sometimes could sell at good prices...

May I know, what website or webpage you sold your books? Any website to suggest beside eBay? I also tried to sell my other old stuff like electronics, gadgets, books, apparel. Thank you for your time.

Have you looked up items on eBay lately? Well, if not, you can check out eBay and see what items are selling and what are not. You may also want to start your online retail business on eBay. They offer tools for sellers t help promote their business. You can also sign up with yahoo small business. They offer a web domain for a little price with tools to help you set up your on line store. You can start selling women's shoes, clothes and accessories if your start up budget is a little tight. But the hot items now a days are cell phones, notebook PCs, laptops and other mobile devices.
