We all know that this time clubs are spending so much money on new players...... Everyone knows about real madrid... then there is manchester city.... juventus spending cash too and Manchester united also looking to grab some young talent..... So which club do you think will be the best and get the best value for their money... and why?

In terms of getting the most money for nothing I'm actually going to say Aston Villa, who's selling of Barry and the proposed sale of Ashley Young for over 20 million would give him almost 40 million to invest in the team, and he is, as much as I dislike him, very good at choosing players to sign and an excellent manager. I heard an interesting rumour though, and if anything came of this then one club would have gotten the best value for money - to sweeten the new offer of 32 million for Xabi Alonso, Real Madrid are offering to throw in Wesley Sneijder. As i say, this sounds rather implausible, but its the ever-ridiculous Real we are talking about. Liverpool, for once, clearly would have gotten value for money!

It is difficult as we have seen in the past that big players donot always gurantee Trophies. From the outset Madrid seem to be the overwhelming favourites to sweep everything these season ,but you never know how does galacticos will play as an unit . Also there will be a more than formidable obstacle in the form of Barcelona standing in their way. In Manchester city's case no quality player ,barring Tevez will join them , so I can see them finishing fifth
