I found a couple of cute candle holders at a "FREE RUMMAGE"

I found that if I put them in the microwave at low setting the wax melts and I can wipe it out with some newspaper, although most people use a paper towel. If there is metal in the candle holders, try setting it in a pan of hot water. You need to melt the wax to get it out.

LIke it ahs already be mentioned- the freezer really does offer the best hope in getting the wax to just pop out. In the past I have used a candle warmer and it works just as well. Then I take all the leftover wax for all the candles and make another candle- it works well and you end up with a unique candle that the looks and smells great. Good luck and happy mylotting!

Boiling is a great idea, but if you don't want to have to sit and watch the water boil. Get a big glass bowl and fill it with hot water from the tap. It will take a few min to come loose. You can walk away from this method so when you come back in a few min all should be melted...don't dump waxy water down the drain it will make trouble for your drain. if the glass has cooled down run under hot tap water to heat glass back up and then whit an old t-shirt or rag wipe clean. In fact I just got through doing this same thing to one of my jar candle holders and it worked great.
