how will you go to office?bus,bike or walk?

When i did work, i would drive my car. I live in a nice neighborhood, but i worked at a blockbuster in a neighborhood where there were always people getting mugged outside, and homeless people slept right outside my store. It wasnt one of those stores youd want to walk to. Especially because i normally worked until midnight or 1 am, and to have wierdos standing around outside begging for money at 1 am, i never felt safe walking anywhere. You would get scared someone would try and rape you or shoot you on the way. I did try and walk one time when i was pregnant, because my car had broken down. But that didnt go so well. My husband wouldnt have me walking, especially being pregnant, and it would have taken me hours to get home, so he came and got me at 1 am. If i worked in a nice neighborhood, i probably wouldnt have minded walking. I like the fresh air and exercise, but in that neighborhood, i wouldnt even trust the bus.

Hi there! In our city, there is massive traffic, therefore, walking cannot be an option for going to office. I use bike to reach my office, though it is hazardous to drive bike/scooter in heave traffic of the city, yet I've no option. It takes considerable time to travel by bus and weather is just too hot and humid to travel in a bus.

Hi There My workplace is far away from where i live so naturally i go by car or by bus but never by bike because in my country you'll rarely see someone travelling by bike ,what you will see is only those guys that are plannig to take biking as a career or just for sport.It's not a common way of travelling here. And i would not feel at ease myself on a bike since i've lost my riding touch also. Have a nice day to you too. cheers!

i go to office by walk.. it's healthy for your body

i would like to go office by bike because its soeasy for me to get my office on time,and it also cheaper than other things so i often use bike to go at office.

I go by bus. First by public bus to a specific point. then by the office bus.its the same way but in reverse order while coming back home.

I am in walking distance to my last job, and I walked to work for 12 years or so. I haven't driven a car in that many years, and I hope I never have to put up with the idiots around here who think that if you don't drive recklessly, you are just in their way, and they are allowed to terrorize you because they are "better" drivers ... So I am learning about freelance writing in the hope I can just work from home. That would be ideal, but I need to learn the business.

Everybody I go to the office and go home on foot. It is not so far away. It spends me half an hour only. So I regard it as a daily exercise for me. Besides, I enjoy listening to the books or music on the way. I won't waste the time. I am still doing something when I am walking:) I love China

I usually bring my vehicle to the office. How much I wanted to just ride a bike so I can save expenses on fuel but the thing is my son, wife and nephew rides on the vehicle with me. So obviously I have no choice but to use my vehicle. In general we will be saving fuel expenses considering that they do not have to pay for transportation.

Hello babyorchild!!! yes, it is very true that using bike is not that preferable when the season is very hot. In my case, I don't like to use the vehicles until it becomes really necessary. That was the reason, I choosed my college nearer from my home. I don't like to use the vehicle, reach at some point in time, wait for the bus and go. And even when returning wait for the bus to move, oh it would be the disgusting thing to do. That's why I choosed my college nearer to my home. And now to my college, its about 15 minutes walk. In the morning time it is very cool to walk and I am so much interested, but while returning again due to this hot season, I start getting headache...Though I make my earphone and music the friends and enjoy the journey.... I don't need any kind of transportation since the office that I work with is just a walking distance away. Also, I have no problem in beating the traffic and rush hours.

Hello babyorchid this is checkmail and mostly I prefer to go office by bus, train and walking.Currently I am on a break from my job.Recently I used to go to my office walking as it was too near for me to try for a bus.Trying bus was someting like going through a U turn.So I made my way straight and prefered to wealk to my office.If there had been late for my office I had been travelling with autorikshaw. Actually you can call it a shortcut way(cool). Keep it up GoodLuck.

My company is so far to my room is not possible to walk it is nearly 8 to 10 km from house daily i prefer to go by bus in this one risk is there in my route heavy traffic,actually my office timings are 10.30 am to 5 pm so daily i started at 8.30 am.

To reach my office, I first need to walk in our village to reach the highway, then ride a jeepney from there to reach the tollway exit, then ride a bus from there for 15 minutes, then another jeepney to finally reached my office. That is how I go to office. It took me about 45 minutes from home to office. Happy myLotting!

Hello there, I used all three of them. lol. Monday, i have to go for bus, because i will go to my boyfriend's house for the weekend, where is 1 hours drive from my work place. Tuesday, i will walk. As i live not far away from the office. I can work about 18 minutes, then i am in the office. Wednesday-Firday: By bike, because i have a bike in my home, when i am late, i will get on my bike and ride, it will took my about 10 minutes to get to the office.

i prefer walking, considering the damage that co2 emissions through engines contribute towards Global Warming

I used to ride in a public utility jeepney, my job isn't that far. If I have a bike I can also use it but I think when I bring a bike where I gonna park it, better to commute than to loss a property. Happy mylotting!

When I still had a full-time job, it took me a jeepney ride (I'm from the Philippines), an MRT commute, and some walking just to get to my office. Now that I'm in studying again I only need to have one jeepney hop to school. Happy times indeed.;p

well, saving the enviroment is more important now, so the best is to walk or public transport. 'if you want to live for longer'
