Would you donate your plasma to get money or would you do it out of the goodness of your heart. I heard it was 30 dollars you could get if you donated your plasma.

What is the procedure for donating plasma? Is it like giving blood? I'd do that for free (they don't give you money in Canada for donating blood).

There is a procedure. You can search online for donating blood or plasma for money. There is always a cash out for plasma. This website www.bloodbanker.com is suppose to tell you where to find plasma donating sites. It is exactly the same process like giving blood. They use a needle, they sit you down for an hour and a half then they left you go afterward.

I have heard that the procedure for donating plasma is quite intense and uncomfortable. It takes longer than the 10-15 minutes to donate regular blood and has a bit of a different procedure that can take about an hour. I have never done it personally, so I am not 100% sure. If I were to donate blood I will do it for free. As far as plasma, I wouldn't mind getting paid since it's a more invasive and lengthy procedure.

I used to do it for $45.00 three times a week. I did it in Oklahoma and I used the money to support my kids. I did have a regular job as a cashier, but it wasn't enough.
