To be honest I cant remember the time I last sat back and relaxed... I have been trying to get so much done it seems since Easter, between getting things done for my sons school.. to his bday party and getting out of school... starting new projects on the house and yard and then my car broke down and my mom, thank goodness, was able to help out and drive me and my kids around for things that I still needed to get done.
I could use a weekend to not have to worry about what bills are going to get paid and what ones have to be pushed off until next week, or not worry about a project that is only half way done around the house... or house cleaning!!
have you been crazy lately and need time to just sit back and relax....or have you been lucky and just got back from a nice relaxing day or even a weekend??

Hello bookreadermom08 this is checkmail and as I can remember back, I don't think I ever got time to relax. You know we tend to get involved in each and every subjects so just can't find out a way to get relaxed completely.Talking about partiall relaxation, just two days ago on saturday I had gone to market place to shop while going to market I had to wait for the transportation for at least 1 and 1/2 hour than the market was also too busy so there much energy got utilised and later while returning home again had to wait fo transportation for about 1 hour after reaching home I wasn't feeling comfortable, sometime of exhausted.Later at night when felt too much, i got hold of my softdrink and just sat back relaxed in front of TV and sipping on my cold drink.Yes it made me relax a little bit and latter completely relaxed as I lyed doen to sleep.
So this was my partiall relaxation at home.
GoodLuck.

we really need to start finding time for us and relaxing and enjoying life around us before it goes by in a blink!!!
thanks for the response and happy mylotting.

the only time I get relax is the time I went out with my bro to drink and just chill but the total idea of relaxing just makes me miss the life I had before..... but now its full of errands and things to do places to go and many more..... dont want to even think about it.

Saturday is my "butt day." The family has been trained and the rest of the people in my world. That is the day that I sit in my chair and watch the world go by. Sometimes I just feel even too tired to eat. Sometimes I take a bubble bath or not. Maybe I watch some TV or read a book or go out for a drive or sleep. I LOVE SATURDAY. The rest of the week has enough junk to do. When I rest I find that I get much more accomplished during the week. I actually get more mileage out of my work time after resting. Resting is an essential part of my life and I always look forward to it. Maybe this is a little off the wall, but it sure is nice.

I think word "relax" has no room for as long as we live. Though, there were times that we're home specially during weekends but still we just can't relax as there's still lot of things to do for during week days we're usually off to work. When sick, it can't never be called rest as we're not feeling well and how could we enjoy our life, is the things that keeps taunting my me til now.

Well I can relate with not finding the time to relax and just not do anything and worry about things like you used too as well. But anytime you do get time just for yourself it does feel good for sure. Personally I have been where you are many times, but right now I am spending a lot of time relaxing, and have no choice but to try and catch up on some Email, mylotting, etc. as well. I just had Cataract surgery on my left eye and off work until Thursday so I have been doing a lot of sleeping, and now catching up on some much needed mylotting as well.

well first I hope you recover well from your surgery.
its sad when it takes a surgery to make us sit back and find time for ourselves.. I am hoping that with all that I have been doing and actually accomplishing that it will make life easier by time my son goes back to school.. we should be more organized.. less cluttered and find more family time... so I hope it will all be rewarding after this crazy summer!! LOL
thanks for the response and have a great night!

I can sense, you have very busy schedules. One does need to find time to relax and get rid of the stresses of the day. My work days are also very long during the week, starting early in the morning and going late into the evening. By the time I get back home, it could be close to 9 pm. And, I make sure that I take at least one hour to relax and get rid off all the stresses and strains of the day. My favorite way is to listen to classical music, Strauss, Chopin, Brahms, Beethoven. I have a collection of CD's.

It must be nice to have time like that ....LOL, I vaguely remember that time before kids when it was just hubby and I and I worked full time (actually 1 full time job and 2 part time jobs
LOL) and yet my house was always clean and we rented movies and just laid on the couch every night...but now, we rent movies and between the kids, the house, or my now trying to earn money online -- I get to only see half of the movies, and it has been forever since I laid on the couch at night!!
but things are shaping up, I am working on getting more organized and I hope that in the long run I will be rewarded for my efforts!!
thanks for responding and have a great night!
