What's your favorite holiday destination ?

I usually go for my annual holidays in the summer time. So, I have to select a place where it would be cool, refreshing, pleasant environment, and full of nice clean air. My favorite holiday destination, from those perspectives, is the Banff National Part on the Canadian Rockies. So awesome and beautiful ! I really enjoy spending a week or two in the Rockies. How about yourself ? What's your favorite holiday destination ?

I don't usually have a vacation.My best trip to date was a trip to New Orleans I took in 1997. I always wanted to go and I got to ,Before Katrina! But my all time favorite will be London.Have you ever felt homesick for a place you never been? That's how I feel about not only London but all of the U.K.

I have been to London, UK, once. One of the most admirable cities in the world.

Hi Sarah! I just wanted to tell you that I have a sister who used to live in New Orleans. My parents and I used to go down there to visit her a lot and we would go to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street.
It's a very nice place. I guess the last time we were there was 1978. She lives in Birmingham now, which is closer to home. I live in Jasper, Alabama, which is about 43 miles northwest of Birmingham.
I have also been to London. My parents and I went to Europe with a tour group in 1973 and we spent one day in London. We were supposed to have two days in London, one free day and one day to tour the city and see the different sights. However, we flew from Bangor, Maine to Brussels, Belgium and we were supposed to change planes in Brussels and fly from there to London. We had a six hour delay and that messed up our free day in London!
We didn't get there until late. We got to see the sights the next day, though.
I really enjoyed it. Kathy.

I really like a place where its hot. Lots of people. Chilling at the beach in Miami. Laying in the sand and go to cool off in the water. There is also a lot more in Miami great city. Nice restaurants. The weathers so nice that you can be outside doing anything.

I go to west new york, we have land there, so far didn't build anything on it, so it's just woods there... we go there with tents and stay there all week... we'll build a cabin there soon though...

I haven't been anywhere on a vacation in ten years. I don't have any particular favorite place I like to go, though. I'm just usually ready to go anywhere.
I just wanted to say that I have been to Banff National Park. I went in 1989 with a tour group and I really enjoyed that trip!
Like you said, it is beautiful!!!

Hi Kathy. That's wonderful you have been to Banff Ntional Park. I am glad you enjoyed. I do go there quite often. We might have there at the same time. I always see many visitors from the States there at Banff.
