COLLEGE: Who really pays attention to lecture?

poor kid sleeping in lecture - This picture goes out to everyone that has slept in lecture, talked during lecture, texted during lectured, left during lecture..basically everything you can do BUT pay attention to the teacher. I know for a fact that WE ALL HAVE DONE IT and its not a surprise, even the teacher has done it before (not when they were lecturing though however that would be a GREAT YOUTUBE VIDEO).

I know that when I am in class, I tend to fall asleep during lectures. Especially Biology lectures, they are boring and the teacher is not very interactive. I know that I am not the only one that does that. Many people sleep, and surf the web or just chat or text one another. Are lectures really worth it when no one REALLY pays attention. Honestly who does pay attention?
