I want to do freelance writing...

Just today, I came across several discussions that were based upon freelance writing, and most of the authors claimed to have earned a lot from them. I got interested and ended up joining a few. I have joined in on Associated Content and also on Constant content, but other sites are mostly unavailable to authors from India or other several countries. I hope to find sites that entertain authors from other countries as well. Please if any of you have any idea about the same, please help me out. Also if I could get a little advice on freelance writing, I would be very thankful. Thank You
