Iran.
It has held it's current borders longer than any other country in the world, and before it was Iran it was Persia.
But, of course that depends whether you're talking about countries or areas.
If you're speaking about areas, then it would be along the Euphrates River, or the Cradle of Civilization.

History is fascinating. China has an ancient history that I don't know much about. I live in Europe so I know more about European history. Britain has a long history that I learned about in school. I have visited Israel and it has a very long history.

Many countries have long history. America is just a newbie. I don´t know exactly which country has the longest history, but all of them are in Asia. China, India, the countries near the Tigris and Euphrates rivers... Aegypt has a long history, but I think it can´t be compared to Sumer.
We would have to see which of this countries developed writing first. I have heard that it was the cuneiform writing but I´m not sure. Can you enlighten me, please?

Well my guess would be a country that is in the fertile crescent or around there. There is a possibility that it could be another one but idk about most of that stuff. I guess it would all depend on the country and whether or not they documented any of their history.
