does inhaling rubbing alcohol bad?

These days because of the A (H1N1) virus scare, everybody was required to put some alcohol gel on their palm before entering the building. Whenever im doing this i cant help but sniff the scent of alcohol and i really like it and its addicting because it smells clean and refreshing. I always bring rubbing alcohol and Im doing that whenever i put alcohol on my palm. Is it bad for my health? What will be the effect of it to me?
