I have 50 comments on 1 of my discussions, Do I need to add comments to all ?

Hi vingyan06, Yes ... you should give a comment to each and every response that you received. It is a correct way to be done. Its shown that you appreciating all the response. And at the same time you can earn for every comment that you made. I never have that much response since I join this mylot. But I always give a comment on response on discussion that I started. If they have a time to give a response to our discussion, we should have courtesy to reply back. Happy mylotting and have a nice day.

That is a great chance to earn lying before you.Just comment on all the responses elaborately thereby making the discussion informative and full of fun.You only earn more when you comment back.Moreover it is a means to show respect to the responders.Cheers!

i have got maximum 12 or 13 answers for one of my discussion. and i felt happy that day when i received that much answers. wow 50 answers for u for a discussion.u feel great i think. i will be too happy if i get 50 answers to my discussion. so best of luck and give good discussions ,then u can get more responses like the previous discussion . its not important to give reply to all the answers u have got for a discussion .u can comment all answers or just leave it by responding few answers.its upto u. but as a respect ,if u have time,u can comment all 50 answers.

The answer is yes you must commenting back. First is for your reputation, if you give good comment to all responses they will also happy and give plus rating to you, that means your reputation could go up higher with that. Second, you must commenting back to earn more money, it's not the response which will gain you money but the comment you made. Third is to give appreciation to other members, yes it is hard to give comment to all responses, but it is your responsibility because you started that so you must give your comment to gain their respect, imagine if someone give long detail response for you and not commented back, how disappointed he will be?

I am a new mylotter. I always not add comments to all response to my discussion. But after reviewing your discussion and the following response, i think i should make up all the commnents to all response to my discussion. Congratulations vingyan. Who knew Cartoon could be such a hit eh? I personally think it is best if you do comment back on each and every responses earned. They made the effort to respond, it is only nice to comment back to show your appreciation. Btw, I love Mickey Mouse.

Even though you do not need to reply to the comments on your discussion, I do find it nice that you do. That way the person knows that you read there post and that you care enough about they're opinion to post back. :) It's understandable that you can't reply to all 50, but maybe around the first 7 or 8 comments, it would be nice to reply back. :) No one knows if it counts to our earnings or not, but it's not about that, it's about showing respect. :)

Hi there wow congratulations for having 50 responses on one of your discussion. Before i made a discussion saying that i just got a few responses with every discussions i made. Now when i saw my discussions having more than 5 responds i am happy already. You have 50 responds wow its really a great feeling dont you? Anyway, its a nice feeling when you answers all the responds given to you. I dont know if we pay for that but member said we paid for that so why give response again to all members who give responds to your discussion. then that just means that you have made a very good quality type of discussion my friend. and congratulations for a job well done. anyways, about the commenting part in all of the responses from your friends and fellow mylotters. that then really depends on you my friend. if you would still comment them all or just pick a very few to where you think your comment is highly needed. anyways, its all about fun so before doing it. just make sure you are having lots and lots of fun. jhelai

Well I have not received that many comments on any of my discussions yet.. May be one day.. Personally I would try to respond to each of them.. This encourages these people to come back later to a different discussion.. The only time that I wont reply back is when the person writes a one liner or it does not have any thought put into what they are writing.. Those kinds of people I do not really care if they come back or not.. I like to have many thoughts and ideas shared among mylotters.. I am not sure if it is because of the fact that I take my writing seriously or I am just being nice.. That is just the way I am! So it may take awhile, but try to respond to each of them.. over time.. its not like the discussion is going to up and disappear...

Hi, 50 is BIG number of response! I guess you've waken up the child out of each lotters here with your topic title! Well, I guess it will be nice for you to answer all, however thinking of answering ALL of the response is a lil difficult also! Guess you should reply 'thank you' to those who typed more than 4 lines! They really need to be appreciated as they spent time sharing with you!

For me, i can comment back all, because i will not wait for many response to comment back.If you don't care about feeling others who don't recieve comment back from you, you can do that, but i don't know the side effect.

There have always been mixed opinions on this, but personally I consider it to depend on the responses. If ach response is varied then it would justify a comment, whereas if several responses are intrinsically the same then I usually consider that commenting on one will qualify because I have given my opinion to it. If I was in a conversation with numerous people who all said something similar I would not think of making the same comment several times. The important thing is to be fair and reply to responses irrespective of whether they agree with your view of things, after all this is what a discussion is about.

It is awesome when we write a discussion and get so many responses. Sometimes I have that happen and other time I will have no responses that sucks :( I try my best to reply back to all the comments but sometimes it takes awhile for me to think of things to respons back with. I think its really up to you if you want to reply back to them all. Some people get mad if you dont but I dont get offended if people dont comment back to my comment on their discussions.

hi vingyan06! congratulations to you! that's really a great achievement to have 50 comments while you are still new here. i still remember the first discussion that i started received 0 response. my second discussion received 1 response, & my third received 2 responses. LOL! but until now, my three best discussions are 173 responses, 142 responses, & 101 responses. im very happy to receive many responses but it really takes time & effort.:) for me, i responded to each & every response that i received. after responded all, i will select the best responder. i have responded to all comments in all my discussions so far, except for the 173 responses discussion, but im on my way now to conclude. LOL!

Hello Vingyan, I think that you should comment on responses if you have initiated a discussion as politeness if nothing else, and also without your comments it does not become an actual discussion. I think that posing a simple question such as your one above will draw a lot of responses as it is an easy question to answer without much thought and it would be very difficult to comment on something which is just a straight forward preference rather than a more complex question which requires more thought to answer. For example if you asked the question what is your favourite colour you will receive lots of responses but how on earth could you comment on each response in an original way. By commenting it gives you the chance to rate the answers and award best response too.
