Hmmmm. Last night was not a good night for me. And i could not sleep. Since 2 AM i tried to sleep. But could not. Then sit on the PC. Then again went to bed at 3 AM. But after trying to sleep for a few hours i could not sleep. And also i was very angry on something. That's the reason i could not sleep.
Well at morning i went to my mother and sleep beside her. What happened is i could actually sleep. And slept 2 and half hour surprisingly.
Some of you may be laughing by reading this. That a child can sleep like this way but he a grown up and he is talking like that.lol
Well it is true. My mother is the most precious person in this world for me and whenever i sleep beside her that sleep becomes just great. It is kind of blessed.
So what about you? Does your sleep becomes great when you sleep beside your mother or father (i after you have grown up )?

Hello darksorrow,
I don't think it is awful (am I using the right word here? ) to admit that you like the feelings of being able to sleep next to your mother. Well, for me it is such a blessed too, if I can do that. My mother is staying in my hometown and I don't see her very often nowadays. If I go back to my hometown, my mother prefers to sleep next to my son rather than me and sometimes, (if my husband permits...) I will just pretend to fall asleep next to her and she always wake me up and ask me to go to my room! When I was single, I always slept next to her and sometimes, I did act like a little girl like asking her to make me sleep or scratch my back! (Oh,no! I revealed everything now!) Of course mother is the best person in the world...people will agree with you. Wait until you become a father and the feelings of having your child around you.... that's amazing!

Hello gr8life,
WoW. That's nice. Sometimes i also ask my mother to scratch my back sometimes and also sometimes she checks on my hairs for dandruff.
Well it still has time for me to be a father but what i know is my is the best thing i could ever had and will have in my life. I can say that there is no one who has a loving and caring mother like me.
Have a nice day

well, I always sleep with my mama because we share rooms as my papa is working abroad. It is really comforting to sleep with your parents. Even if I'm turning 23 years old, I still enjoy sleeping beside my mama. It feels good, I feel so secured being beside her.

It is really comfortable when we sleep beside them. Something that can not be explained.

the last time i slept with my mom was in march this year. we had to share a room in hongkong for a week when we had our vacation.
i think when we seek comfort and care, we also find ourselves seeking our moms. that's a bond that is shared between mother and child. as we grow in our mother's womb and let out into the world... from a child to adult... that bond will still be there.
i remember my mom sleeping with me whenever i get sick as a child. when i grew up, even when i was studying in the university, she'll still sleep with me when i was sick. she even changed my clothes when i was with high fever and sweating profusely during the night. even at that age, she did that. i guess being a mother doesn't stop when her child becomes an adult.

anything that is deep felt will bring tears to the eyes... it's a normal reaction for people who think and feel at the same time. hehehe don't worry... i won't breathe a word to another soul about it DS.

Hi myles,
I also like it when my mother takes care of me when i am sick. She always checks on me. That's in the normal case. Last year when i had my accident and was at hospital she forgot to give rest herself for 24 days.
And not only this after i came back to my home i was not ok. She did everything for me. Again after that when the time when i had my operation she again was not able to rest for over 21 days.
And it was continuous. Mother is one person who never leaves their child in any situation. They always stay with us no matter what. There is no other relation which can be compared with a mother-child relationship. And i can say it is my luck that i have my mother.
Hmmmm. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. My eyes got wet when i was typing your reply. Don't tell this to anyone.

I don't remember the last time I slept with my mother but my kids would climb in bed with me randomly and it stopped around the age of 12.
No...I have to take that back....my daughter is 21 now and she had a really bad day one day, came home from work and climbed in with me, she was 19 at the time....
I don't see anything wrong with it, this is something that reminds you of part of your childhood that you may not want to give up. As long as you're both ok with it, I don't see the big deal.
There are just too many people that think bad thoughts and forget they have a mother and make it into a bad thing.

I did share the bed with my 14 yr old son on vacation, we shared the bed to save money. At home, if I go in his room and fall asleep watching a movie or talking, he wakes me up and tells me to go to my own bed.....I hate being woke up before I should!

There is nothing like a mothers love and it's something most of us experience before our memories even exist. Don't let anyone take that away from you. It's something that can't be replaced or traded and when her time comes to leave this existance (if it's before your own) may you have no regrets....
**does she need a big ole scarey bear hug from you today?** ;) j/k

Yeah. Some people don't like it. Even before sometimes i asked my mother to feed me with her hand. And my friends laughed on that also.lol But i like it and i am not willing to let anything go i like because others laugh at me. As you said a part of me still does not want to grow up. I find it is true.
Thanks for the response

Your mother is your protector from birth...It is totally common and there is Nothing wrong with that...I have slept beside my mother on many occasions that were troubling in my relationships,,,abuse,,,where else other than God could I go except MOM!!!!!! She has passed away a few years back and at first, when I had a question or concern, I would go to the phone and then realize that she was (not with us)...oooh how heart breaking...ENJOY and respect your Mother while you have her...after she has left you...It is ALL Differnt situation..Give her a hug for me and let her know how much you Love her...before it is tooo late.......and get plenty of (good) sleep.....God Bless

Hi there dark!
I can't actually remember the last time I slept beside my mother. I am not used to sleeping beside her. I know when my siblings are starting to grow up we already have our own beds and sleep alone every night thought we sometimes share the same room.
I can remember I have slept beside her sometime but that was I think 2 years ago and I can't sleep. But I don't think it's because she was beside me but it's because I'm not used to sleeping beside someone. I'd rather sleep alone or with my pet dogs. But I kinda think it's sweet of you to still sleep beside your mom. Few grown ups seldom does that, sleep beside their parents.
Ciao!

Hey iskayz,
I also sleep alone. And if someone comes to my home then i try to drive that person away because it is really irritating for me to sleep with someone.
Sleeping beside my mother is different. No matter what worries you have everything just hides somewhere until you wake up. That's what happens to me when i sleep besides her.
Have a nice day

It happened one year ago. Me and my sister don't live the same state wtih my parents. So, whenever we go home, the whole family sleeps in the same bed. It is very interesting. But, now I am married and I loose it. Last time when I went home with my husband, I wanted to sleep with everybody atleast for one day, but my parents didn't allow. It is sad.

I don't feel shy to say this. I can grew up old but I'll be always a child to my mom. I am just like you. I can not sleep if my mom is not there beside me. I hardly get sleep. Another thing when I am at home, I don't know to serve food on the table and eat. I can't even identify that I am hungry. My mom feeds me with her hand. I can't eat myself. I am proud to say this I am under complete love, care, control and protection of my mom. My friends often make fun of me, they laugh at me, who cares let them laugh. I can't leave my mom for anyone or for anything.

@meyows, That's great. Well what people can do is laugh. Some of them may be jealous of you because you have such a loving and caring mother. As you said let them be and do whatever you like.

I just take a nap beside her last month. It was long ago since I slept with her because we begun to have separate rooms and bed when we have our house renovated. I miss sleeping with her. I now sleep with my twin sister in one room. We sleep on separate beds. I am on the top of the double deck while she is under.L.o.l.

Hello darksorrow,
Nice to see you after a long time.I slept beside my mother when i was in the tenth standard. When i used to go to school then my mom used to sleep with me and my brother on the mattress. It was good for us as in the night if we were not feeling well she used to care for us.Even i had a peaceful sleep in the night. Then in the morning she used to wake us up for school.
