I've never tried more than one kind of mangos (mangoes? not sure how to spell it. lol). In fact, I didn't even know there were different kinds. I just thought there was one standard kind. lol. Shows how much I know.
From what I've tried, I like mangoes. But they don't really offer that many varieties in stores where I live!

Well Maezee, I would say first, I am really sad to hear this. But I hope you will get to taste many varieties in your store. You know there are many varieties which taste so different and delicious more than any thing else. Good to hear you like mangoes.

I like mango too. But I am also not so sure about the kind of mango. I do know certain mango is sold in quite expensive price in the supermarket. Then I will know it is a good grade mango.
I don't mind to pay more to eat more quality mango. I like ripe mango the most. Sometimes I will dip the mango with salt. Have you guys try before?

Hi Aira!
Mangoes are one of my most favourite fruits and I always eagerly await for summers to so that I could enjoy Mangoes. Though I like all kinds of varieties, yet I find that there is no match to 'Deshari' variety of Malihabad of Uttar Pradesh, India. One enoys mangoes as a fruit and Mango shake really tastes delicious and yummy. One can have many varieties of mango pickles and chutney in the summer.
Have a great day!

Hi Aira!
It is good that you and your husband are fond of mangoes. I've not heard or tasted the Kesar variety of Gujrat State. Hope one day, I'll taste it. Mangoes are the best of the fruits and even the famour Urdu poet Galib was very found of it.

Hi Deepak,
Hope all is well.
It is really nice to know one more thing about you that you like mangoes very much. My husband really like it so much that he just can't stop buying it whenever he see the fine mangoes in the market. Well, Dasheri is quite famous in North India and Kesar is popular in Gujarat. Do you like Kesar? I like it. Yes, Mango shake is just awesome. I love it. I prepare it at home.
Have a nice day!!

Hi,
I love mangoes very much. All this summer I bought mangoes every week. There are many varieties in mangoes. However I feel that mangoes should be available all the year. Again I have to wait till next summer to eat mangoes...
I also like apples and bananas very much. I take a fruit daily after dinner..

Hi there, yes i love mango its one of my favorite fruit. I am not familiar with the name of mangoes you mentioned but here i love mangoes especially the ripe one. We have here also mangoes called Indian mangoes i dont know where the name came from but its really good taste it was small green mango and when turned to ripe its being more tastier. We have here also apple mango dont like it much because it was tasteless for me. Anyway, there are other varieties of mango here and i dont know how they called it and whatever it is i surely love eating mangoes. Cheers!

Well, the name Apple Mango came from the the taste and the feeling and color of the skin, I guess. I am sometimes get confused by the name. Sometimes, it doesn't taste good but the name is so nice. Like here we had one mango 'Makkan Aam' mean butter mango but the taste of these mangoes is so sour even its a ripe one. Thanks for your response kmaram!
