why can't men stay faithful to one woman?

I have heard so many stories wherein men cheat their wives or girlfriends. I don't know for what reason they do this. If they're not happy in their relationship, why don't they just cut the ties rather than cheat? Have you ever experienced something like this? Were you the victim or the villain?

I have had an experience. My last boyfriend of over 2 years was going out to the bars seeing what he could get. Girl as we all know can be very selfish. They flirt and taunt to boost their self esteem. When my boyfriend would go out, he would drink and the girls drinking would be almost putting out. It was only a matter of time until he wanted to do things with them. I know he danced, and touched them. I am not sure if he ever cheated, but when I found out his desires, i knew he would not remain faithful for long, so i cut ties for myself. I knew if he did cheat, he would keep it a secret because he still wanted me, and i would be in danger of catching diseases. Guys sometime suck, they think with their "other head" at the expense of others and their feelings. I do believe that there are some guys out there though, the good ones...I think every girl has to believe there is!

From the beginning of time men were hunters, now they don't have animals to hunt for so, the next prey eis the woman. It's a kind of game to them, to see whether they will succeed. They are not doing it to hurt the person they are with but to see how good they are at getting what they desire. Until women stop being the prey, cheating males will have the upper hand. They see something they can't have and the male ego gets alert and they go after it with full gusto hoping to wear them down and be the conqurer.

To be honest it's not only men as i have known women that have done it. I think you'll find if you actually look at some statistics they're probably pretty equal. Plus also, some men may find cheating 'exciting' as it has a great amount of risk etc.

i wish i new that answer as well i was a victim i will never be a villain because it's wrong to cheat on your spouce or some one you are with if there is a problem in your marridge that don't mean you step out on it you try to work it out if you can't then end it not just step out on that person/

The same question can be asked about women. They also can be unfaithful to their partners. Why don't women just cut the ties rather than cheat?
I'm not trying to defend men who cheat, just wanting to clarify that cheating is not the crime of a sole gender.
