Today I recieved a free Glade candle in the mail because I took a survey a few weeks ago about scented candles. I'm supposed to burn this candle a couple hours a day for 3 weeks and then take a follow-up survey at that time.
Also a few days ago I took a survey about home hair coloring, and was told I'd soon be recieving 2 boxes of hair color to try out, and again I'll have to take another follow up survey.
Have you ever gotten something to try for free just for taking a survey? I think it's pretty cool!

I once got a nice little card packet for taking surveys for one site. It's a nice surprise because I didn't expect they would sent me anything after I requested the stuff for 5 months ago. Taking surveys sometimes can be long and tedious. They ask the questions almost in the same pattern and it makes little sense to finish answering all of them. Sometimes it's tolerable though. But one thing is sure, it's time-consuming.

Oh yes, I've gotten several things. I got a $5 bill in the mail not too long ago and all I had to do was buy a frozen dinner (already had one) and cut off the UPC code and eat the meal and then answer some questions about it.
I got a $2 bill from the same company a little bit ago wanting me to fill out a survey about junk mail. I had to collect all my junk mail for a month, put it in a pre-paid envelope and mail it back to them. Easy money!
I got a Glade plug in fan unit also. I didn't get the scent thing that goes with it, but I could have used my $2 bill to buy one. Ha.
I've also gotten free samples of hair shampoo to try out and then fill out a quick survey. I signed up for a mom to be club when I was pregnant with my DD a couple years ago and got TONS of samples through that and a question sheet that was maybe 5 questions long at most. Took me all of 4 seconds to check yes or no on the boxes. Easy stuff.

Yes I have, katsmeow; I get stuff all the time. I get products to sample and evaluate through follow-up surveys plus I earn points on some survey sites that I trade in for merchandise. The last prizes I redeemed was a new hand mixer for one daughter and a gas card for the another.
I particularly like to have the choice between cash or prizes because I can order b'day or holiday gifts with points without having to pay even so much as shipping and handling, all it cost me is just a little time participating in one of my most favorite activities. I just can't get much better than that!
We have used redemptions to get things the family needs and wants for years. I love being a surveytaker.

What program are you using? (pm if it's a referral)
I do BzzAgent (they don't do referrals) and I get alot of items to try that way. Right now I"m doing Windex for outdoor windows, Neutragina Pure & Free Sunblock, and OFF Power pad lanterns + their clip-on. I do have to take a small lil survey in the beginning and at the end of their word of mouth campaign & they give me points redeemable via MyPoints.

I think I've belonged to it before but never got anywhere with it like you are.
Did you check out BzzAgent? It takes a while of doing to get up there I've been doing this for about 3 yrs and it's finally really paying off. I've also done that comes to mind: Walgreens Take Care clinics (free mug & magnet), Diet Mtn Dew (free pack of Dew + coupons), Take 5 candybars (sent the mini bars + coupons), Canadian Club (free t-shirt + rebate for a free bottle), Sonicare toothbrush ($150 value! FREE!), Suzi Orman books, Lemoney snicket book, Arby's (free meal) those are all that I can think of that I have done with them. They also offer things at a reduced price sometimes like the other year they did Columbia Jackets. This winter they did some sort of non-mainstream gaming system that was reduced price.

I never heard of that site until I started this discussion!
Mine is just a typical survey site that just happened to do these 2 surveys about products and offered to let me try them. The site is Mysurvey. You probably already belong, but if you don't, PM me your e-mail and I'll invite you to join it.
I'm going to look up BzzAgent now.

Yea I have received a few things to try and more often than not they are pretty useful too so I quite enjoy getting to use the product and then get paid for a follow up survey!

If they send you boxes of light ash brown then please send them to me! This is really great. I would love to do something like this but I expect that it is for US citizens only. Oh, I sent you a postcard showing you where I live last Friday. I am going to try later and send you some photos from my BB - am practising!

My natural color is a darker brown, and I don't have too much gray yet, so I tend to go for different colors to shake things up a bit. I actually asked for a very light blonde. Right now I have medium brown with blonde highlights, but it's grown out an inch or two, so it's definitly time for a cover up.
I haven't recieved anything from you yet. I'll let you know when I do.

Yep, sorry to be answering this so late..but I am just getting to it in my inbox..seriously..But ot answer your question yes I do get free samples products to try. I am a member of several different surveys and I get to test pizza, razors, cleaners, shampoos, cereal, trail mixes, soaps, facial anti-aging serum, toilet paper and a many other things. I would love to try the hair dye..and candles..haven't been that lucky yet. Everything I have tested have been name brand products. I quit 3 of my survey sites and so not getting as much as before.. I was getting something almost every month to test..now it is more like every few months.

I have received a Venus razor which, by the way, is great. No soap or body wash needed as it creates it own; no cuts, and it lasts a long time. I've also received a package of toilet paper and a couple of boxes of cereal. Those are the only things I can think of off hand.
Yesterday a friend forwarded a Canadian website to me that sends out free samples. That's it. You register and you pick the current promotions and they send you free samples. I can hardly wait.
Since I am desperate for money right now (after all these years of me being off work with a disability, my husband decided to sit down and work out the money situation and is suggesting I get a job - who the H can get a job right now?), I decided to check out my accounts on some of the survey sites I am a member of and cashed out $10 yesterday. I did remove myself from some survey sites (without checking my account) because I was being overwhelmed with surveys, especially at the end of the week, and had nothing to show for it... entries in sweepstakes are worth NOTHING!

I love getting free stuff for surveys. I belong to a few that send me products to test. I just got done doing a shampoo one and a waffle one. I'm also doing a special paper towel one. I have done cereal and the glade sense and spray in the last few months too. Which sites are you using? we'll have to compare to see if we are using the same ones.

Mysurvey is about the only survey site I belong to. Normally I'm not crazy about doing surveys, which is why I've kept it to a minimum.

Yes we have. As a matter of fact, my hubby is doing a survey right now. For his trouble he gets 2 very nice razors and male skin care products. I have a snack one coming my way soon.

I have a survey site I go on that does sometimes offer free products to try, the last one I did was for some new margarine, I received a massive tub of it through the post and was supposed to use the product in place of my usual. I did this and it was actually really nice but then they never got in touch with the follow up survey for some reason! I had a foot scrubbing thing too that was pretty good and is quite expensive in the shops!

Yep, lately I've gotten a lot of food, like pasta sauce, cake mixes, and cookies, plus a lot of moisturizers for some reason. I love it! I've yet to get a laptop, but I won't give up, lol!

no, not EVER, as i live in a faraway place which will make the companies puke from shipping costs if ever they decide to send sample products here i wish we could get them, though. i think it'd be fun!

I've never gotten anything like that. You're lucky! I would love to test out a Glade candle, though! (As I buy them with my own money, usually). I think what you're doing is considered "product testing". I've never found a survey site that has offered to do that for me, unfortunately. The only "free stuff" I've received are things that I've bought using Amazon gift cards that I received as a result of doing the surveys!

I have done this as well. I've gotten cereal, fruit bars, toilet paper and shampoo to try and then take a survey on. They often include a survey on paper so you can have time to think of your reactions as you use the product, then refer to that paper as you take the online survey. Also, with the shampoo, I had to measure the amount left in the bottle after the alloted time, so they know how much was used.
I enjoy taking surveys and getting the free stuff is an extra benifit.

WoW! Congratulations to you! I've been taking lots of surveys online and haven't received any free stuffs out of it. I don't think they would bother sending stuffs in the Philippines since it is very far and it would cost them much on the freight if they do.

I have a few times. Once was for baby wipes. Saved me a few bucks. They reminded me of huggies wipes. Also I got a free pizza once. It was in a styrofoam box with dry ice. The pizza was real good.

i have never received things like that.it is really amazing. You know there is a career about this. Some applies to try to use a new product, and after a period of time,he gives back his opinions and advice about the product. This is a very hard job demanding high ability to appreciate. of course it is well paied and often homeofficed.

Wow, you are lucky indeed. I have joined many sites taking surveys but I have not received any product in return.
