Do you Blog? What are your tips on having a successful blog?

Hi, Do any of you Mylotters have a personal blog? Do you use it for fun, as a diary, website, for money making? I have just recently started my first blog. There is a link to it in my profile. I have posted so far on my personal life, and interests.
So I have a few questions... do you blog? If you do what about? Do you use your blog to make money? How do you make your blog popular?

I have a personal blog. It's for a mix of things. I use it to document how I'm doing with weight loss aspects of my life. I also have an account with a site that pays you to blog about certain things, but you have to be fairly popular to get a lot of opportunities. I seem to have a problem getting people to follow my blog. I think I may be too personal for some people or my view of things just isn't that interesting lol! I have my blog listed on my profile as well!
